Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Treatment/Wound Care Nurse to join our compassionate caregiving team at Summit LTC Management LLC. This role is essential in ensuring that each resident receives the necessary assessments and follow-ups regarding their treatment needs and outcomes within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
The Treatment/Wound Care Nurse will:

  • Assess and monitor residents' treatment needs and results, collaborating with other licensed staff to maintain optimal functional abilities.
  • Educate residents and staff on infection control measures and treatment protocols.
  • Coordinate treatments with daily activities to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans in collaboration with the Nursing Department.
  • Document all relevant information in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings and in-service training as required.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A Nursing Degree from an accredited institution or graduation from an approved LVN/RN program.
  • A valid Texas driver's license or reliable transportation.
  • Preferred: At least one year of nursing experience in a skilled rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with electronic medical records.

Licenses and Certifications:
Candidates must possess a current and active license to practice as an RN or LVN in the state. CPR certification is also required.
