Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Braintree High School. The successful candidate will provide specialized instructional support and care to students with severe autism disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with Activities of Daily Life (ADLs) such as toileting, feeding, and mobility.
  • Deliver safety management and physical intervention utilizing the district's safety program (Safety Care) as part of a student's positive behavior support plan.
  • Reinforce and instruct learning with individual and small groups of students under the direction of the classroom teacher or specialists.
  • Assist in observing, data collection, and the use of positive behavior supports including token economy systems and point charts.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of an inclusive, student-focused, and culturally proficient learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • High School diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience working with students with special needs is an asset.
