Behavioral Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at CharterCARE Health Partners. As a key member of our outpatient behavioral health team, you will provide a wide range of services to clients, including assessments, therapy, and group sessions.
Responsibilities- Conduct biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments to evaluate clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide short-term and long-term therapy to clients with various presenting problems, including substance abuse histories.
- Lead outpatient groups, including Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP).
- Work closely with other professionals to coordinate care and develop treatment plans.
- Perform insurance reviews and obtain authorizations as required.
- Master's degree in a related field, such as social work, mental health counseling, or marriage and family therapy.
- Licensure: LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or MSW with an agreement to obtain licensure within 6 months of employment.
- Experience/training in serious mental illness and dual diagnosis preferred.
- Strong analytical and therapy skills to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions.
- Ability to work cooperatively with peers and other disciplines.
- Knowledge of community resources and managed care companies/third-party payers.
This position involves sitting, walking, stooping, and reaching. Lifting up to 10 lbs. may be required occasionally.
