Introduction

HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals. You will work closely with our imaging team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce images of organs on photographic film.
  • Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders.
  • Position patients and adjust immobilization devices.
  • Compassionately explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate using computerized documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program
  • AART (NM) and/or CNMT Certification
  • Current American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
