Key Responsibilities:
Deliver holistic, evidence-based care that includes:
- Accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health issues.
- Health counseling and planning for patient disposition.
- Education and treatment regarding pregnancy prevention and sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention.
Additional duties include:
- Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Administering immunizations and injections, along with providing evidence-based vaccine counseling.
- Conducting patient assessments during intake.
- Taking vital signs and performing diagnostic tests such as EKG and Retinopathy screening.
- Executing Point of Care testing, including COVID testing.
- Facilitating patient registration and enhancing the patient experience.
- Ordering necessary equipment and preparing the clinic environment.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record documentation.
- Proficiency in taking vital signs, performing phlebotomy, and conducting Point of Care Testing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation.
- Ability to pass a FIT test and wear a respirator mask as needed.
Preferred:
- Phlebotomy Certificate or experience in phlebotomy.
- Prior experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings.
Skills:
Experience in phlebotomy is preferred, with a requirement to complete internal training if not previously experienced. Previous work in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room is advantageous.
Education:
The candidate must possess a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
