Key Responsibilities:
- Execute site assessments to evaluate soil and rock characteristics
- Conduct geotechnical evaluations and computations
- Design foundations, retaining walls, and slope stabilization solutions
- Work closely with project teams to incorporate geotechnical insights
- Supervise construction processes to ensure compliance with geotechnical standards
- Develop clear and precise reports and recommendations

Manage budgets and project financials for accuracy; bill clients appropriately.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PE) License, preferably in the State of North Carolina.

Proven experience in geotechnical assessments, preparation of geotechnical reports, defining testing protocols, analyzing test results, conducting engineering evaluations for foundation design, drilling and boring plan development, site preparation considerations, slope stability, and seismic risk assessments, as well as structural special inspections.
