Job Title: Electrician Technician

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the electrical industry? Tim Ferguson Plumbing Air & Electrical is seeking a skilled Electrician Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Electrician Technician is responsible for the installation and service of electrical systems in residential and commercial environments. This includes inspecting and troubleshooting electrical systems, presenting solutions to customers, and using a variety of tools and techniques to resolve electrical system issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the HVAC installation team with disconnect replacements, wire pulls, and other electrical items as needed
  • Follow standard process for installing and configuring electrical systems
  • Use a variety of tools and techniques to repair and maintain electrical systems
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints
  • Follow all safety requirements and OSHA guidelines while working
  • Complete sold services using protective measures to keep customer's home clean and undamaged
  • Answer any questions that our customers may have about their electrical systems and components while striving for customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Journeyman Electrician license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to operate tablet, mobile phone, and other field equipment as needed
  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs repeatedly during work hours
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders and/or step stools repeatedly during work hours
  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time during work hours
  • Ability to work in small and confined dark spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, etc.
  • Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures (indoor/outdoor)
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time between job sites and customer locations
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
