Job Summary:

As a CDL Class A Truck Driver at PFG Customized, you will play a critical role in delivering food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner. This is a unique opportunity to join a team that values safety, customer satisfaction, and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and coworkers to ensure accurate and timely responses to questions and concerns.
• Function as a team member within the department and organization, performing duties as assigned to best serve the company.
• Perform all required safety checks, including pre- and post-trip inspections, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards.
• Report all safety issues and/or repairs required, and follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
• Inspect trailers for properly loaded and secured freight, and perform count checks of items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded.
• Complete all required paperwork associated with freight, including damage control checks and verification of delivery of items with customers and obtaining proper signatures.
• Collect money (cash or checks) where required, and load customer returns onto the trailer and secure trailer doors.
• Ensure that tractors, trailers, and freight are appropriately locked and/or always secured.

Requirements:

• 0-6 months commercial driving experience
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• Valid CDL-A Must be 21+ years of age
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift;
