Responsibilities

The Service Department Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining oversight of service department jobs and pursuing accountability.
  • Ensuring margin and profitability while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Developing and enhancing All-Lift's InspectAll Data integrity.
  • Creating electronic folders for service jobs.
  • Reviewing jobs to ensure target margin alignment.
  • Coordinating rental equipment delivery to scheduled job locations on-time.
  • Managing daily audits and recording technician logged time.
  • Reviewing and updating Work in Progress.
  • Maintaining and managing company-owned tools.
  • Scheduling and booking technician travel.
  • Handling billing for completed service jobs, including cost assembly, Sage entry, and invoice preparation.
  • Preparing repair folders detailing symptoms, problems, causes, repairs, and services required.
  • Aiding in requesting POs from customers.
  • Assisting with parts check-in and determining necessary parts from breakdowns and emergency calls.
  • Supporting Service & Maintenance Schedulers with day-to-day scheduling.
  • Preparing quotes for customers as needed.
  • Updating job knowledge through educational opportunities and trainings.
