We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our General Surgery team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
About the RoleThis per diem position is primarily for the general surgery inpatient floor service, with the opportunity to cover SICU, Burn, and Liver transplant services as needed. You will work closely with our experienced surgical team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities- Manage a variety of post-operative patients from different surgical sub-specialties, including breast and plastics surgery.
- Help manage trauma, acute critical care, general surgery, surgical oncology, colorectal, endocrine, and bariatric surgery.
- Work collaboratively with our surgical team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
- NYS licensure and NCCPA certification.
- BLS/ACLS certification.
- DEA certification.
