Lead Systems Architect

Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent healthcare organization, is seeking a Lead Systems Architect to enhance their team.
This organization focuses on developing software solutions utilized in medical facilities, facilitating improved tracking and management of patient care.
With a substantial data center located in the region, they prefer candidates who are situated nearby. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Windows and the Microsoft technology stack, with additional experience in Linux being advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves assisting with the implementation of Entra, ensuring cloud connectivity, and driving automation initiatives.
If you have expertise in Ansible, Azure DevOps, or Kubernetes, these skills will be beneficial as the position evolves.
Contract Details:
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity lasting between 4 to 6 months, primarily remote with occasional onsite requirements during incidents at the data center.
Compensation:
The pay rate is between $55-60 per hour during the contract phase, transitioning to an annual salary of $110-125K upon conversion.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux systems.
- Experience in task automation using Bash or PowerShell scripting.
- Strong understanding of Azure DevOps practices.
- Background in data center operations.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as DSC, Ivanti, Ansible, or Puppet.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years in system administration or engineering.
- Relevant certifications or degrees are preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Windows & Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, and/or CentOS)
- Ansible or Puppet
- Bash or PowerShell
- Kubernetes
