Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Practical Nursing students in the classroom, practical, and clinical settings in a variety of subject matter areas.
  • Clinically supervise and evaluate students while participating in their affiliation experience at nursing homes and hospital facilities.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of Practical Nursing students.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students and faculty.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Valid New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Meets the health qualification required of all personnel.
  • Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Working Conditions:

The Clinical Nursing Instructor and Educator will work in a fast-paced educational environment with a diverse group of students. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
