The City of Medford is seeking an experienced ESOL teacher to join our team. As an ESOL Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching English as a second language to adult students.

This is a non-benefited position that requires a high level of expertise in teaching ESOL to beginners and intermediate adult students. The ideal candidate will have experience following a curriculum, preparing and evaluating curriculum materials, and working with volunteers.

• Teach ESOL classes to adult students, following a curriculum and preparing and evaluating curriculum materials.
• Monitor student attendance and report any issues to the Director.
• Collect assessment data for reports and record student progress toward their goals.
• Work with volunteers to support the ESOL program.

• At least 1 year of teaching ESOL to beginners and intermediate adult students.
• Experience following a curriculum and preparing and evaluating curriculum materials.
• Experience working with volunteers.
• Ability to monitor student attendance and report issues to the Director.
• Ability to collect assessment data for reports and record student progress toward their goals.

• High School Diploma.
