Overview:

The Mixologist is tasked with crafting and serving drinks and/or food to patrons while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recognize and address customer needs to guarantee a high level of satisfaction.
  2. Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and maintain a proactive service attitude at all times.
  3. Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to both hotel guests and staff.
  4. Prepare and decorate beverages according to established recipes and portion control guidelines.
  5. Present and serve drinks to guests effectively.
  6. Verify guest identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Accurately process payments from guests, including cash handling and credit/debit card transactions.
  8. Maintain and stock the bar with necessary supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, and other essentials.
  9. Prepare, store, and ensure the quality of all beverage-related perishables.
  10. Handle inebriated guests with professionalism when necessary.
  11. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  12. Exhibit calmness, tact, and creativity in all interactions to maintain the confidence of the public and colleagues.
  13. Contribute to a workplace that is comfortable, clean, and enjoyable.
  14. Ensure operational excellence by providing superior service and quality products consistently.
  15. Lead by example, following instructions and ensuring all operational standards are met.
  16. Identify opportunities to enhance revenue, particularly in food and beverage services.
  17. Participate in all required departmental meetings.
  18. Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures; report any incidents or unsafe conditions to management.
  19. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and protect company assets.
  20. Complete additional tasks as assigned to support the mission and objectives of National Hospitality Services.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of six months of bartending experience in a full-service bar or restaurant.
  • Highly motivated and energetic individual.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to timely completion of tasks.
