Overview:
The Mixologist is tasked with crafting and serving drinks and/or food to patrons while ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recognize and address customer needs to guarantee a high level of satisfaction.
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and maintain a proactive service attitude at all times.
- Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to both hotel guests and staff.
- Prepare and decorate beverages according to established recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Present and serve drinks to guests effectively.
- Verify guest identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Accurately process payments from guests, including cash handling and credit/debit card transactions.
- Maintain and stock the bar with necessary supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, and other essentials.
- Prepare, store, and ensure the quality of all beverage-related perishables.
- Handle inebriated guests with professionalism when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Exhibit calmness, tact, and creativity in all interactions to maintain the confidence of the public and colleagues.
- Contribute to a workplace that is comfortable, clean, and enjoyable.
- Ensure operational excellence by providing superior service and quality products consistently.
- Lead by example, following instructions and ensuring all operational standards are met.
- Identify opportunities to enhance revenue, particularly in food and beverage services.
- Participate in all required departmental meetings.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures; report any incidents or unsafe conditions to management.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and protect company assets.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned to support the mission and objectives of National Hospitality Services.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of six months of bartending experience in a full-service bar or restaurant.
- Highly motivated and energetic individual.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Results-oriented with a commitment to timely completion of tasks.
- Adaptable to changing circumstances.
