Job Title: Packaging Engineer

At Master Lock, we are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our packaging engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative packaging solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop packaging solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Design and develop packaging prototypes, including testing and validation.
  • Work with manufacturing teams to ensure packaging designs are optimized for production.
  • Develop and implement cost-reduction initiatives through the evaluation of new packaging materials and methods.
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints related to packaging.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
  • Working knowledge of packaging processes, methods, and performance testing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with packaging implementation for automation.
  • Familiarity with evolving packaging regulations across the US and Europe.
  • Packaging-related simulation experience.
