Electronics Technologist

At Hormel Foods, we are seeking an experienced Electronics Technologist to join our team in Atlanta. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the programming and troubleshooting of our electrical systems.

This role requires strong technical skills, with experience working with basic electrical systems, including starters, fuses, contacts, and relays. You will also have expertise in troubleshooting electrical breakdowns and utilizing product manuals and schematics to complete repairs.

A successful candidate will have a strong ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, to identify and solve complex problems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.

In terms of qualifications, a high school education or equivalent is required, along with relevant experience in electronics technology. A strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards is preferred, as well as experience working with PLCs, SERVO motors, and industrial control systems.
