Job Summary:

The Diesel Fleet Technician will perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks, including preventive maintenance inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, as well as maintaining accurate records of all work performed.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical system problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including work orders and repair histories.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current and valid driver's license required.
  • ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks a plus.
Working Conditions:

The Diesel Fleet Technician will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to changing weather conditions and varying temperatures. The position requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in confined spaces. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.
