Job Summary

We are seeking a patient-centered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) in Sioux City. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
  • Participate in the development of nursing care plans and implement therapeutic programs for patients.
  • Assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel in less complex situations.
  • Current valid driver's license and ability to meet the University Driving Policy Standards.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Iowa Board of Nursing, or eligible for temporary work permit.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support provider.
  • Driver's License and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous EPIC experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate teamwork and autonomy in all aspects of the role.
  • Previous Family Medicine Clinic experience.
  • Previous phlebotomy experience.
