Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders to produce high-quality machined parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to develop and implement processes for producing quality machined parts.
  • Develop and maintain tooling, fixtures, and processes necessary to meet production requirements.
  • Operate manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders to produce machined parts.
  • Conduct quality checks on machined parts using checking devices and fixtures.
  • Read and interpret verbal instructions, sketches, and formal drawings to ensure accurate production.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in manual machining.
  • Strong knowledge of manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
  • Ability to read and interpret verbal instructions, sketches, and formal drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
