This is a unique opportunity to serve as a Management and Program Analyst with the Department of Homeland Security. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the DHS Office of the Secretary's continuity program and activities.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders and mission partners to enhance departmental readiness for all hazards.
- Support Headquarters alternate facilities management, including budgeting, Information and Communication Technology systems refresh, workspace management, and conducting familiarization tours.
- Conduct Emergency Relocation Group planning; operations; testing, training, and exercising implementation requirements.
- Must be a current permanent Federal employee.
- Must have supervisory approval to apply to the Joint Duty Assignment.
- Must NOT have any pending/outstanding disciplinary actions.
- Must have achieved a minimum of "meet expectations/proficiency" on latest performance appraisal/evaluation.
- Must be currently at the grade level of the detail.
- General experience providing timely and comprehensive customer service support to executive leaders.
- General experience developing, implementing, and evaluating tactical and strategic operational activities.
- General knowledge of and experience with continuity of operations (COOP).
- General knowledge of homeland security, national security, or intelligence functions.
