  • Patient Support: Respond to patient inquiries about billing, procedures, policies, and available services, and provide accurate and timely information.
  • Chart Preparation and Management: Prepare patient charts prior to appointments and complete them upon patient arrival, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Checkout and Payment Processing: Efficiently process patients through checkout by verifying chart documentation and insurance information, accepting and posting payments, and preparing and filing clean claims.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform end-of-day tasks, including balancing cash drawers, processing daily deposits, evaluating data from various reports, and submitting essential reports.
  • Patient Flow and Office Environment: Monitor patient flow throughout the office, communicate delays effectively, and maintain a safe and clean office environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent, with previous medical office experience and knowledge in medical coding and billing preferred.
