StaRN Residency Program

Role of the RN Resident

The RN Resident is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with departmental requirements and professional standards. In partnership with medical providers and care team members, the RN Resident will:
  • Assess patient conditions during admissions and shifts, promptly reporting any changes.
  • Execute procedures and monitor patient status as directed by medical providers.
  • Document care provided in the patient medical record accurately and timely.
  • Respond promptly to patient requests, ensuring exceptional care.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License or eligibility as a Graduate Nurse in the State.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Willingness to travel for training as necessary.
