Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Speech courses, maintaining accurate student records, and providing guidance to students.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Speech courses to students in TDCJ correctional facilities
  • Maintain accurate student accounting records
  • Submit required student reports to the Admissions & Records Office
  • Direct and evaluate the learning experience of students
  • Provide counsel/guidance to students
Requirements:
  • Master's (or higher) degree in the teaching field or a Master's (or higher) degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field
  • Candidates must pass a criminal background check by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ)
