Position: Downstream Operator - Night Shift
Working Hours: 7PM-7AM on a 2-2-3 Schedule
Shift Schedule:
- Work Monday/Tuesday, Off Wednesday/Thursday, Work Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- Off Monday/Tuesday, Work Wednesday/Thursday, Off Friday/Saturday/Sunday, Repeat
- Only 15 working days per month
- Every other weekend includes a 3-day break
- One week entails 48 hours, while the next week consists of 36 hours
- Total of 84 hours in a pay period, with overtime for hours exceeding 40, paid bi-weekly
This entry-level role within our Extrusion department involves utilizing standard tools and measuring devices to identify basic irregularities. The Downstream Operator ensures that the final product is evenly and neatly wrapped around the reel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with production team members to ensure accurate winding of orders onto reels for customer shipment.
• Assist with line start-ups and reel changes, ensuring the correct reel is placed for operation.
• Operate the reeler in both manual and automatic modes, and manage the grinding of line scrap as it is produced.
- Utilize strong attention to detail to conduct basic quality checks, ensuring products meet customer specifications.
- Prioritize safety for yourself and your colleagues at all times.
- Contribute to a safe work environment by sharing feedback and suggestions for improvements.
- Competitive starting wage of $20.00 per hour plus night shift differential.
- Shift: 7PM-7AM on a 2-2-3 schedule.
- Sign-On Bonus: $500 after 90 days and $1,000 after 180 days of employment.

- 6% 401(k) match with an additional 3% contribution from Orbia, with full vesting on day one.
