Position Overview: This role is for a Surgical Technologist in the Fluoroscopy Suite, working during the day shift.


The Surgical Technologist is responsible for establishing a sterile environment and ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are ready for use.

Throughout surgical procedures, the Surgical Technologist must provide the correct instruments by understanding the surgery's requirements, the surgeon's preferences, and anticipating the surgeon's needs as the operation unfolds.

Additional responsibilities include the cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and hygienic surgical atmosphere.


Minimum Qualifications: Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program or Licensed Practical Nurse Program. Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills along with computer proficiency are essential. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is necessary. BLS certification upon hire and Healthcare Provider BLS within three months of hire is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare Provider BLS certification, recent hospital experience (2-5 years), and/or prior practice. AST Certification within six months is preferred.

On-Call/Weekend Requirements: Yes.
