Additionally, the technician is responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of surgical instruments and attire
  • Provide direct patient care during surgical operations
  • Conduct thorough counts of sharps, instruments, and sponges
  • Collaborate effectively with the circulating Registered Nurse
  • Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures
  • Prepare and organize operating rooms for upcoming surgeries
  • Ensure proper stocking and sanitation of surgical equipment
