Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Cardiology. As a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist, you will assist physicians in performing invasive procedures, coordinate care in an assigned room, and provide patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in performing invasive procedures and coordinate care in an assigned room
  • Provide patient care and optimize team performance by participating as a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team
  • Operate radiographic and ancillary equipment within the discipline, including guidewires, catheters, and ablation systems
  • Utilize imaging techniques to provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for specific cardiac procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiologic Technology required; AA degree preferred
  • Licensed by the State of Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance as a Radiology Technologist
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current BLS/ACLS Certification required within 1 year from the end of orientation date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced certification in Electrophysiology, RCES registry, and HRS certification
  • Current PALS Certification required if in pediatric cardiology
