As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct therapy services to students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs and support their academic progress.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, in alignment with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom and facilitate students' overall development.
  • Progress Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: South Carolina state license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
