Job Summary:
The Dishroom Attendant will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment. This includes cleaning and sanitizing equipment, facilities, and food service areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize equipment, facilities, and food service areas
• Wash pots, pans, and traps while maintaining a neat appearance of working areas and cleaning equipment storage areas
• Clean and disinfect walls, sinks, countertops, floors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, and other areas of food service areas
• Clean and replace floor mats
• Support the dish room, operating the dish machine
• Empty and clean garbage cans in the dish area and throughout the kitchen
Requirements:
• Obtain a SERV Safe Certification
• Basic knowledge in the use of housekeeping/cleaning equipment and knowledge of chemicals as it relates to MSDS
• Understand government public health and, or safety regulations
• Verbalize and respond to guests and fellow coworkers
• General computer/keyboarding skills
