Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Preventive Maintenance Mechanics with a background in Elevator systems (both Residential and Industrial) or Conveyor Belt Systems to become part of our team as a Service Maintenance Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on electric overhead traveling cranes.
  • Engage with clients regarding repair and safety matters.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and breakdowns.
  • Generate sales opportunities during service visits.
  • Document work performed accurately and thoroughly on service reports.
  • Execute new crane wiring, assembly, installation, and commissioning.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Travel may be necessary; a work vehicle will be provided.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of AC/DC theory and the ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3-phase motor control systems. An A.A. degree or equivalent vocational training or experience is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Familiarity with both electrical and mechanical systems, along with experience in mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety practices.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives and PLC programming is a plus.
  • Prior crane maintenance experience is advantageous.

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts.
  • Monday through Friday.
  • On-call or overtime may be required.
