Karate Instructor

We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Karate Coaches for our Karate Zoo enrichment program.

About the Role:

As a Karate Coach, you will be responsible for teaching our Karate Zoo Program & Amazing Athletes (10 sports) to children. No prior martial arts experience is necessary, but a good attitude, a love of working with children, and a willingness to learn are essential qualities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Karate classes to children using a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun and stress-free.
• Use individual attention to ensure every child has success and feels valued.
• Implement positive reinforcement techniques to encourage children to do better and celebrate their successes.
• Follow the Karate Zoo Coaching Manual & Curriculum to ensure consistency and quality in our programs.

What We Offer:

Our programs come with ready-made curriculums and extensive training to help you get up to speed quickly. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of like-minded individuals who are passionate about teaching children life skills through martial arts.

Requirements:

• A good attitude and a love of working with children.
• A willingness to learn and follow our coaching manual and curriculum.
• Availability to work 10-15 hours per week, with mornings and afternoons available.
