Covenant Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team in the Emergency Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Correlate patient history and support systems within hospital care and nursing home care.
- Assess learning needs of patients and families.
- Develop and initiate plans of care, involving patients and families.
- Recommend interventions and evaluate plans of care.
- Resolve problems regarding moderately complex issues without oversight or supervision.
- Demonstrate active participation in unit or facility activities.
- Demonstrate willingness to precept employees/students as directed.
- Supervise LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters.
- Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Complete required education assignments annually.
- Work towards achieving goals and objectives, and participate in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
- Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
- Minimum Experience: One (1) year of professional nursing experience.
- Licensure Requirement: Valid Tennessee RN license. CPR required.
