Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to patients, visitors, and staff at AHMC HealthCare. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in handling multiple phone lines and computer tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to patients and visitors regarding hospital services and policies.
  • Support the admitting process by assisting with patient registration and other administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using hospital software systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in switchboard operation, bilingual skills, or prior experience in a hospital setting are highly desirable.
