Job Title: Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at St. Charles Health System. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and achieve their optimal level of physical function.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, and provide treatment and rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring physician. You will work with family and team members to discuss patient abilities and goals, and provide education and training to patients and their caregivers.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions to improve mobility and function.
  • Work with patients to set and achieve goals, and provide education and training to patients and their caregivers.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Oregon.
  • Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to meet St. Charles Health System driving requirements.
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a hospital-based setting.
  • Membership in good standing with the American Physical Therapy Association.
