Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Team Member to join our team at VHSDPS Restaurants, LLC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our restaurant.

Essential Functions
  1. Sanitation and Food Safety: Demonstrate a strong commitment to sanitation and food safety practices, consistently adhering to company standards and regulations.
  2. Pre-Opening Preparation: Conduct a thorough inspection of the restaurant to ensure a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members.
  3. Daily Tasks: Complete daily jobs in a timely and accurate manner, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment and facilities.
  4. Weekly and Monthly Tasks: Perform weekly and monthly tasks, such as deep cleaning and maintenance, to ensure the restaurant remains in excellent condition.
  5. Exterior Maintenance: Maintain the appearance of the building exterior and grounds, including landscaping and snow removal.
  6. Safety and Security: Follow company safety standards at all times, prioritizing the safety of team members and guests.
  7. Team Collaboration: Coordinate job duties with other team members to ensure efficient preparation for opening.
  8. Inventory Management: Accurately receive and store food and supplies, rotating stock to ensure freshness and quality.
  9. Quality Control: Take temperatures of required foods upon delivery, documenting results on the Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist.
  10. Maintenance and Repair: Complete scheduled maintenance on equipment and perform repairs as needed, ensuring the restaurant remains in excellent working condition.
  11. Communication: Report any issues or concerns to management, providing clear and concise communication.
