Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician Assembler to join our team at UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies. As an Electronics Technician Assembler, you will be responsible for laying out, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electronic development and production equipment, parts, components, and systems according to engineering instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly tasks, including soldering, wire preparation, and assembly.
  • Work effectively in a warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 15 pounds, standing, walking, twisting, bending, and squatting.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one to three (1-3) years of electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred.
  • Soldering experience desired.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment helpful.
  • Basic to intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
