Job Description

Summary/Objective:

The ideal candidate will be tasked with ensuring the operational efficiency of injection molding machinery, auxiliary systems, and overall facility upkeep. These maintenance responsibilities should be executed with a focus on safety, product excellence, production efficiency, and cleanliness to meet set objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To excel in this role, an individual must effectively carry out each essential duty. The qualifications outlined below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for success.   1. Diagnose, repair, and maintain all facility equipment, addressing issues related to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems.
  2. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on a daily, monthly, and annual basis.
  3. Perform preventative maintenance on robotic systems as necessary.
  4. Ensure cleanliness and organization while working on machinery and in the maintenance area.
  5. Execute additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and experience required for this position include:

  1. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic maintenance.
  2. Experience with injection molding machines and robotic systems; repair and maintenance experience is highly preferred.
  3. Proficiency in maintaining and repairing auxiliary equipment such as resin dryers, chillers, grinders, robots, sonic welders, and air compressors.
  4. Capability to diagnose issues and repair all facility equipment.
  5. A high school diploma is required, along with the ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.
  6. Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, including electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  7. Competence in identifying materials necessary for repairs.
