Job Title: Radiology Student Tech

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a Radiology Student Tech to join our Diagnostic Radiology team in Oklahoma City, OK.

About the Role

As a Radiology Student Tech, you will provide exceptional support to our INTEGRIS Health caregivers and the community at large. You will work under the direction of the Chief Technologist/Shift Supervisor and Radiologists to perform radiographic procedures at a level requiring indirect supervision of technical detail.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor radiographic equipment to ensure proper functioning and report malfunctions promptly.
  • Use safety devices to ensure maximum radiation safety, including cones, collimators, lead aprons, gloves, and gonad shields.
  • Perform computer and clerical functions regarding radiology requests.
  • Stock and maintain orderliness in radiographic exam rooms.
  • Utilize nursing procedure technique to provide necessary care and safety for patients while in the radiology department.
Requirements
  • Two semesters of school experience from an accredited Radiology program, verified with the program director.
  • Upon completion of accredited Radiology program, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required within 90 days.
  • Current CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).
