Position Overview

The Fitness Sales Consultant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while guiding prospective and current members in selecting classes, addressing membership inquiries, and facilitating merchandise transactions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Responsibilities:
    • Implement the sales process through lead generation, follow-ups, and closing techniques.
    • Achieve and surpass sales targets set by management.
    • Establish rapport with potential clients to understand their fitness aspirations and recommend suitable services.
    • Conduct studio tours for prospects to foster relationships and facilitate sales; schedule follow-up appointments after initial class experiences.
    • Engage in promotional events (such as health fairs and community gatherings) to enhance studio visibility.
    • Enhance sales skills through participation in training sessions and team meetings.
    • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, services, and pricing structures.
    • Assist in retail sales and respond to inquiries regarding merchandise.
  • Member Retention:
    • Assist members with inquiries related to membership policies, both in-person and over the phone.
    • Warmly welcome members and guests, ensuring a friendly atmosphere in the studio.
  • Studio Operations:
    • Ensure a clean and safe environment during each shift by performing cleaning tasks as directed.
    • Adhere to company procedures to operate the studio in compliance with health regulations.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude, embody company values, and represent the organization's interests to customers.
  • Address customer complaints and inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Follow established safety protocols and participate in safety training as required.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or fitness sales.
