Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and portioning.
  • Utilize kitchen equipment effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and usage.
  • Guarantee that all food items are prepared, seasoned, and cooked to the high standards set by our culinary leaders.
  • Adhere to established recipes and techniques, ensuring consistency in dish preparation.
  • Manage the proper storage of all ingredients, including labeling and dating procedures.
  • Maintain sharp knives and tools, demonstrating proficient knife skills to handle a professional workload.
  • Keep the dish station organized and compliant with health department standards, assisting with cleaning schedules as needed.
  • Collaborate with both the Hospitality and Kitchen teams to support operations during peak times.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and accountable kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar culinary role.
  • Possession of a valid Food Handlers License.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
