Role Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver exceptional medical care to patients, aiding in their recovery from acute conditions while managing chronic health issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients by gathering complete medical histories, performing physical examinations, and reviewing existing medical records.
- Order necessary laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging to accurately evaluate patient conditions.
- Analyze and synthesize clinical data to formulate appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with fellow physicians and medical specialists to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.
- Document all clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient interactions accurately in medical records.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, expected outcomes, and preventive measures.
- Monitor treatment effectiveness by reviewing diagnostic results and following up with patients as needed.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to physician assistants, nursing staff, and interns regarding patient care.
- Ensure high levels of satisfaction among both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the financial sustainability of the practice while contributing to the achievement of organizational goals.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to fulfill the mission of the organization.
- Adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements related to the position.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Experience: Minimum of three years in a relevant medical role.
Preferred Experience: Previous experience as a staff physician.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with standard hours of 40.00 per week, primarily during daytime hours.
Essential Credentials:
- Medical Doctor (MD)
- Substance Control Registration
Educational Requirements:
- Doctorate in Medicine (Professional)
Working Conditions:
- Requires manual dexterity and coordination.
- May involve exposure to occupational hazards.
- Physical demands may include lifting up to 35 lbs.
