About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal SAP MM Consultant to join our team at Infosys. As a key player in our consulting team, you will be responsible for helping our clients discover and define problem statements, identify areas of improvement, evaluate solution options, and make recommendations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage turnaround expectations from the team in terms of SLA/KPIs and front-end deliverables with client stakeholders.
  • Create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts.
  • Implement deployment plans and support knowledge transfer.
  • Provide value-adding consulting solutions that enable clients to meet changing needs in the global landscape.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Location: Austin, TX.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • At least 11 years of experience in SAP MM module, including 2 S/4 HANA full life cycle project implementations.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and provide conceptual and detail design to meet business needs.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/Idoc Integration, and system integration areas.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of B2b Integration and system-to-system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interface methods.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces, and user exits.
  • Experience in Master data related projects and Enterprise Portal is desirable.
  • Ability to read ABAP codes is required.
  • Writing of functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces.
  • Working with business users to define scope and gather business requirements.
  • Testing and rollout of the final product.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skilled in working with cross-functional teams.
  • Good Analytical and Communication skills.
  • Good Planning and Co-ordination skills.

**Work Environment:**

The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods of time. Ability to communicate effectively and travel as per job requirements.
