We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Metallurgist to join our team at P and C Recruiting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance in mineral processing, pyro-metallurgical, and hydrometallurgical plant operations.

• Conduct and direct metallurgical research programs to improve current and create new processing techniques.
• Oversee sampling programs, analyze data, and examine opportunities to improve current plant operations.
• Communicate processes, procedures, conditions, and status to departmental employees and other stakeholders.
• Coach and develop the knowledge and skill base of entry-level engineers and technical staff.
• Evaluate projects by working with vendors, consultants, and educators to test and evaluate new and upgraded equipment, reagents, and flow sheets or processes.
• Provide technical expertise to other departmental and divisional operations.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in metallurgy, preferably in metal/non-metal hydro or pyro metallurgy or minerals processing.
• Experience training and developing technical staff.
• Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field.

Regularly uses a computer and phone. Frequently uses hand tools (powered and non-powered). Occasionally uses personnel carriers and loading/hauling equipment. Rarely uses cutting/welding equipment.

Frequently required to work in outdoor weather conditions, wear PPE including but not limited to eye protection, hearing protection, and foot protection.
