We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our PACU team, with a cross-training opportunity to the Ambulatory Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering patient-focused care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care activities and discharge plans.
- Perform point-of-care Blood Glucose Monitoring and interpret abnormal/critical value results.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
- Current licensure and registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Critical Care or PACU experience preferred.
