Developmental Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Developmental Therapist to join our team at Leg Up Farm & Able-Services, Inc. As a Developmental Therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting communication and language skills in students with Autism or Social-Emotional Diagnosis.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania. Additionally, they should possess experience working in pediatric settings and be knowledgeable about best practices for Speech Language Pathologists.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments of students to identify current levels of function, areas of dysfunction, and developmental age appropriateness.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans for students.
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students through individualized and group sessions.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress.
This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $80,000-$100,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
Requirements- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- PA State License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA.
- Completion of New Staff Orientation Trainings, Mandated Reporting and Child Abuse Training, First Aid & CPR/AED Certification, Safe Crisis Management Certification, Current State Child Abuse History Clearance, Current State Police Record Check, Current Federal Criminal History Background Check, Compliance with Drug Testing & Satisfactory Drug Testing Results, Knowledge of scope of practice of a PA State Licensed Speech Language Pathologist, and Intermediate Computer Literacy Skills.
