Surgical Technologist Position

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to work in our operating room as a Certified Surgical Technologist. As a member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating room, as well as assisting the surgical team during procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the operating room, including setting up equipment and supplies.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being during procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery Certified (CST-NCCT) by the National Center Competency Testing (NCCT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
