Job SummaryThis role involves preparing equipment for cardiovascular procedures, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. You will work closely with cardiologists to deliver high-quality patient care and act as a preceptor for new hires.
You will also have opportunities to participate in training and education programs, ensuring that you stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in cardiovascular imaging.
Responsibilities- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Assess patient conditions and prepare them for procedures
- Maintain a sterile environment during procedures
- Collaborate with cardiologists to deliver high-quality patient care
- Act as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A complete 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
- Previous experience working in a procedural area is preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire
