As an Area Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of designated Public Assistance Job Centers and Model Offices. Your leadership will ensure that these centers effectively determine eligibility and manage the issuance of benefits for eligible households.

Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising the daily operations of assigned Job Centers to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Collaborating with Center Enhancement Directors to enhance service management and improve client engagement.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the coordination of application and recertification processes.
  • Preparing management activity reports that analyze center performance and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution along with four years of relevant experience, including at least eighteen months in a supervisory role; or
  • A high school diploma with eight years of equivalent experience, including supervisory experience; or
  • Equivalent education and experience as described above.

Preferred Skills:
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication and writing skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • A working knowledge of the Cash Assistance process.
