Job Summary

As a Roadway Foreman at Granite Construction, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in excavating and grading right-of-way for construction projects. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure distances from reference points to locate boundaries of construction site.
  • Direct work crews engaged in operating vehicles and machines to dump, scrape, and spread dirt.
  • Verify curvature of graded surface, using hand level.
  • Perform other duties as described under Supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum experience: 10 years.
