We are seeking a highly skilled Shotcrete Nozzleman to join our team at GeoStabilization International. As a key member of our geohazard mitigation team, you will be responsible for operating rock drills, construction equipment, and shotcrete pumps to ensure the safe and efficient execution of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Operate rock drills and construction equipment to support geohazard mitigation efforts
- Mix, spray, and run hoses to apply shotcrete and grouting solutions
- Read and determine measurements to ensure accurate application of materials
- Maintain a clean and organized construction site to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives
- At least one year of experience in soil stabilization or geohazard mitigation
- Prior experience with concrete or shotcrete application
- Drilling experience and heavy equipment operation skills
- Ability to travel extensively and work in a variety of climates
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Class A CDL
- Nozzleman certification (ACI Certification)
The work environment for this position will involve working in a variety of climates and conditions, including tropical and desert environments. The noise level will be moderate, and hearing protection may be required. The role will also involve regular heavy lifting of construction materials.
Travel and CompensationThis position will require 100% travel in the Eastern US, with a 3 weeks on, 1 week off schedule. The hourly rate for this position is $23-$27, with opportunities for overtime pay.
